Effective Change in Education Programs
Starting in 2010, the Education Department began a new style of programming. Each of our new programs will have a hands-on (inquiry based) component incorporated in the teaching session. In creating a setting where students interact and physically use the information being taught, science concepts presented will be reinforced and bring those ideas to life in the student’s hands. 
Our presenter-student ratio has been reduced to give more opportunity for one on-one interaction and the chance to experience the information personally.
Adaptations, diet and classification are a few topics to choose from when selecting a program.
A variety of inquiry based programs are being offered as part of our Zoo2U menu as well. Our hope is to reach even more students by taking our programs off site to those groups that can’t come to us.
